Duanni Cinnabar Clay Hehuan Teapot 110cc Yixing Teapot
Hehuan Teapot
The Hehuan teapot is one of the celebrated “Eighteen Forms of Mansheng”, created by the scholar Chen Mansheng and the master potter Yang Pengnian. This piece faithfully replicates the original Mansheng Hehuan teapot that sold for 3.4 million yuan at Xiling Auction in 2018. The body bears the classic inscription: “Wine brings joy, but tea is better – Mansheng”. While staying true to the original’s literati spirit, the handle has been innovatively redesigned as a dragon handle , adding a touch of heroic elegance that complements the auspicious meaning of “harmony and joy”. Crafted from Duanni Cinnabar Clay, it fires to a warm, sandy texture – replicating the antique refinement of the old teapot. At just 110 cc, it captures the small yet exquisite character of the original, making it perfect for solo gongfu sessions.
